shows - shop - studios
combining old and new in a curious way
open every day 9am—3pm
12 May - 12 November 2024
flóra is a cultural spot working with artists, designers, farmers and other creative minds offering studios in the house Sigurhæðir, doing events and cultural project and selling and showing artists works and items
our focus is on the house Sigurhæðir *1903 and its cultural heritage and therefore on a more simple life closer to nature and the arts as did our predecessors Guðrún Runólfsdóttir and Matthías Jochumsson in the house more than one hundred years ago - in our own way also - artist and creative minds play a key role in rethinking society into this direction - we are especially interested textiles and texts
